Thank you, FL-16!

By Jon Harris

The voters of Florida’s 16th Congressional District made their choice, and I congratulate Kelly Kirschner on his win.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who supported this campaign, volunteered, shared our message, showed up at events, and trusted me with their vote.

Running for Congress has only strengthened my belief that public service does not begin or end with an election.

I’m still a veteran, a cybersecurity professional, a father, a neighbor, and a member of this community. I still care about the cost of housing and insurance, the promises we make to veterans, the strength of our public schools, responsible government, and the decisions that affect families across our region.

So I’m not stepping away.

I’ll continue showing up, listening, volunteering, speaking out when it matters, and staying involved in the local issues that affect our communities. This is not the end, just a new chapter on this journey.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to make this case and for everything you taught me along the way.

My 2026 campaign may be over, but the work is not.

With gratitude,

Jon
